Sustainability

Energy efficiency, operational excellence and an ecological footprint.

Sustainability is an important factor in the overall efficiency of every distribution centre. By applying best in class installations and building materials we reduce energy consumption, benefiting both the financial performance of our clients and the ecological footprint of the operation.  Our building designs allow everyone working in the facility to perform their tasks in a safe and comfortable environment.

Energy Consumption

Sustainability is an important factor in the overall efficiency of every distribution centre. By applying best in class installations and building materials we reduce energy consumption, benefiting both the financial performance of our clients and the ecological footprint of the operation.  Our building designs allow everyone working in the facility to perform their tasks in a safe and comfortable environment.

Operational excellence

Warehouses are developed with a very clear purpose: to store and facilitate the efficient distribution of goods.  We develop facilities that support these operational requirements.  We make no compromises to our warehouse dimensions and we develop in prime locations to allow efficient, multimodal connections to the main transport corridors.

Within each facility we take care that all flows of people and goods can be performed in an efficient and safe way.

Ecological footprint

The physical distribution of goods has an important ecological impact both during the construction phase as well as during the operational life of the facility.  We strive to reduce this as much as possible.

During construction we design facilities with long term usage in mind and use durable materials wherever possible.

Connections to public transport and cycle access are key elements in our developments to help minimise the ecological footprint of the staff using the facility.
